BAPTISMS
When we come for Baptism we are saying “yes” to God’s love and desire for us to belong to the community of God’s people.
Baptisms are easy to arrange but should be booked with several weeks notice.
- During our services. (especially Sunday 9am)
- 11am and 3pm most Saturdays
CONFIRMATION
A service in which baptised Christians aged 15 or above confirm the promises that were made for them at baptism.
It is also a way that Christians who come from another tradition might become members of the Anglican Church.
Confirmations may only be conducted by a bishop on his annual parish visit.
WEDDINGS
St Matthew’s Church is a spacious, open and peaceful setting for any wedding. Please come in for a look!
Our clergy will usually conduct weddings at St Matthew’s or another location with permission,
Several months notice is required to organise the celebrant, marriage preparation, and service arrangements.
FUNERALS
St Matthew’s church is available to those who wish to have an Anglican funeral service.
There are forms of service available in our Anglican Prayer Book.
Just let your funeral director know you wish to arrange a St Matthew’s funeral or have our clergy perform a graveside service or service at another location.
